History

We opened up a new freezer storage depot at the Lar transport centre in Rekkem on 1 July 2000. We choose the Lar transport centre because of its great location close to the E17, E403 and A19 motorways. Moreover, there is also the possibility to have all the necessary customs formalities fulfilled at Lar.

• We also expanded our existing freezer (mobile shelving, drive-in, and bulk) with mobile shelving in 2001.
• In 2002 an expansion happened of 3,000 Euro pallet places.
• We carried out a further expansion in 2004, adding more mobile shelving and bulk storage. We then had space for more than 13,000 Euro pallets and 5,000 bulk spaces + 6 loading docks.
• Another freezer expansion followed in 2009, when we added two loading/unloading bays directly on the freezer.
• In 2015, we built a new refrigerator and freezer storage depot, including office spaces, on the other side of the existing M50 building. This freezer consists of mobile shelving and the “Storax” Ranger Shuttle System.
